The 1978 Sunrisers' Rifle Line Enjoys a First Place Finish at Kingston, New York
"I can identify the 3 people whose faces can be seen. They are, from left to right:   Maureen Tammany Van Deusen, Karen Gionti Codd, and Lillian Roe Daunt.   I believe the other 2 are Dania Cabrera and Lee DiLorenzo.   All 3 identified above married horn players in the corps. Maureen and I were married in 1976. I played baritone. Karen Gionti married baritone player Chris Codd a couple of years later. I am not sure when Lillian Roe and French horn player Paul Daunt were married.   Two of us had previously competed against Sun. I marched for 5 years in the Connecticut Hurricanes (1972-1976). Paul Daunt marched previously with the New York Skyliners."   -- Neal Van Deusen
