DINNER:  7 to 11PM in the Terrace Dinning Room. Dinner to include: soda, coffee, house wine, house beer, with cake for dessert. From 11 P.M. to Midnight, we will be moving into the hotel’s lounge: “Pete’s Place”

We’re asking everyone to bring their Sunrisers memorabilia to share again this year. It has been very well received and appreciated by all attendees at our past dinners. We will have tables set up for this display. (Please label your memorabilia so we will know what belongs to whom)

The "Long Island" Sunrisers 2009 Competitive Debut - a Success!

New corps...new home...bright future!

The Long Island Sunrisers Drum Corps completed its first season on Long Island this past Labor Day weekend and not only endured a difficult transition in the process, but did so in the bold tradition of the "Orange & Blue". The Sunrisers packed bags, hit the road, opened up shop on the island where it all began years ago, drew an entirely new membership and hit the ground running. Securing a surprising (not from our standpoint!) guard finish of 3rd place and overall corps ranking of 8th out of 11at the DCA Class A Preliminary Competition in Rochester NY, September 5th, this dedicated corps has certainly set the stage for a new beginning.

Congratulations to the Sunrisers "Class of 2009"!!
