Tony Cataneo was, in many ways, the heart and soul of the Sunrisers from
when he joined in the early 1980s through his untimely death in the early '90s.
He was a great drum major (clearly one of the best in the corps' history, right up there
with Tom Hart) and an excellent instructor. But it was Tony's vibrant personality and
commitment to the Sunrisers that impressed the most. He was a true Sunriser, always
helping out, always looking to "rally the troops" when times were tough.
He was taken from us WAY too soon.
