Rose Cataneo joined the Sunrisers in the late 1970s as a
member of the color guard, and stayed with the Sunrisers through
the 1997 season.
Following in her brother Tony's footsteps, she became
drum major in 1994, when the Sunrisers returned to the field after
being inactive for the 1993 season.
Through good years and bad, you could always count on Rosie
being there and doing her best to help the Sunrisers, as either
a color guard member or as drum major, during her time with the corps.
She was one of the people who helped keep the corps alive during
the difficult period in 1993.
