John Arietano: A longtime Sunriser (1966 through 1983 and also 1993), he was the brass arranger for the Sunrisers' first four DCA championship seasons, and has since arranged for and instructed two other DCA champions (Caballeros in 1984 and 1985 and Westshoremen in 1996) as well as dozens of corps and bands.

As a soloist, he was the most recognizable performance personality the corps has EVER had. He also helped recruit a large number of members from New Jersey in the 1970s, and helped keep the corps together during the difficult "inactive" year in 1993. He also is one of only a few Sunrisers who are members of the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame.
