Gary Williams: He "bled Sunriser blue and orange" from 1974 through 2000, and was director of the corps during some of Sun's greatest seasons ever in the late 1980s. He also helped steer the corps through a difficult rebuilding period in the early-to-mid 90s, with the Sunrisers regaining DCA membership status under his leadership. As a corps member and director he was always willing to help out, whether it was playing a different instrument, helping recruit members or helping promote the corps' fundraising activities.
