Billy DiPaolo is the true personification of the word “commitment.” The man just won't quit. Oh, he's retired from the Sunrisers...on numerous occasions over the past 30 years or so, and then promptly un-retired whenever the corps had a need. Since the early '70s, Billy has marched, played and given the Sunrisers both moral and fiscal support continuously and without hesitation. Not enough horns for the parade? Sign him up. Support for an alumni event? He's there, and has been, every time. It was an honor to march with him and tonight, for his un-selfish and steadfast commitment, it is the Sunrisers' turn to honor Billy DiPaolo.
