I was scanning around and I ran into this site, which brought back a lot of
fond memories. My years with Sun are years that I will never forget. I
guess an update of events since 98 would be in order :-)
I have moved out to Louisville, Kentucky (March of 99) and am still employed
as a manager with UPS, but now I am working for the airline. My
responsibility is to keep the computer system that monitors our airplane
engines up and running....no small feat!!! :-)
Moving to Kentucky was a big event in my life, but nothing compared to the
wonderful thing that happened to me the weekend of Thanksgiving, 1998. The
Sunday evening after the corps banquet, I was laying on my brother's couch
after yet another weekend of hard partying and hurting people that I truly
loved. It was that evening that I dedicated my heart to Jesus Christ and
have been on the greatest journey a person can take. I won't say that it
has been easy....shaking some of my old guilts and habits hasn't been
easy....but through Him I am stronger in faith and conviction than I have
ever been.
I miss my ol' buds, but none more than the pit section, with whom I laughed
and cried with harder than any group I ever marched with or taught my entire
life. I miss you guys and think about you often.
Well, I hope you all are doing great and please don't be a stranger!!!
