My name is Joseph Sitler. I was born, raised, and still live in Bay Shore, Long Island.
My years with the Sunrisers include :
- 1991-92 Played 2nd(91) and Lead(92) Baritone
- 1994-96 Lead Baritone and In-Line Individual Marching Tech
- 1997 Lead Baritone, In-Line Individual Marching and Baritone Line Tech
- 1998 Baritone Line Tech
About me :
I am a Tenured Music Teacher in the Brentwood Public School System.
My job is being the Director of the 7th, 8th, Jazz, Pep and Marching Bands. Middle
school Marching Band only does the local spring parades.
I am currently the Assistant Band Director for the Brentwood High School Marching Band.
I really love my job and I could not think of doing anything else.
Hobbies are: Drum Corps(DUH), sports, love them Yanks, Knicks, Isles, and Skins.
Hanging out with friends and doing whatever if I can find the time.
I would like to thank Gary and the Administration for giving me a shot to
teach in 94, and Rich for giving me all those High C's and Ab's when I was
playing.
