Hi everyone. My name is Bob Rowan. I was a member of the Sunrisers from 1972 to 1978. Started in the bass line. The shortest guy with the biggest drum... remember "big bertha." Tried my hand at the triple toms (with Oscar's help). In 1974 or so, was pressed into action as a director/program manager with Ted Sasso (two years), until Mike Delorenzo rescued us.

Everyone will remember those days of financial doom, collecting dues and passing the cup at practice to pay for Tom McAndrew, Pete Emmons, and Jim O'Hara.

My wife, Susan, joined the guard in 1974 - 1978. Many of our best days were with the SUN. I can remember the State Police stopping the Carey Transportation bus because ... ( big smile ) !!!
