Hi, my name is Heather Kellam, AKA Feather, AKA Pleather. My rookie
year in the Sunrisers' color guard was 1991. I had the pleasure of marching
under Joseph Cataneo, Greg Lagola, Ed Doscher, and Budd Williams. I also
marched in the Pegasus Winter Guard in the '93-'94, '94-'95, and '95-'96
seasons. I taught the Ramapo/Indian Hills High School winter guard for the
'96-'97 and '97-'98 seasons. I was the guard instructor for the Waldwick
Jr./Sr. High School marching band for 3 years.
I graduated from William Paterson University with a bachelor degree in
communication with a concentration in TV and Radio. I now work for Time
Warner Cable Channel 10 News as a photojournalist.
I'm glad that I was able to march as a Sunriser for as many years as I
did, and in my heart I will always be a Sunriser. Go Sun!! Let's make a
repeat of '94!
