Hey guys, for all of you who dont know me, my name is Maggie. I am 19 years
old and am a music education major at the Crane School of Music where my
concentration is in Bassoon.
I came to sun in 1997 with a dream. I never
though i would be able to march in a any Drum Corps because I had never
before played a brass instrument. The Sunrisers made my dream come true, not
only teaching me how to play a brass instrument, but also teaching how to
strive for excellence, and to follow through with any dream or goal and to
never give up.
I was in the third soprano section in 97 & 98 (3rd sops are da bomb!). In
1999 something amazing happened. I marched with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle
corps in the Mellophone section(2nd mello). This was a long time dream of
mine since I was little. If it weren't for the Sunrisers this dream would
never have come true. Thanks guys, Luv ya!!
Well guys, I'm back!! Back in 2000 full force in the Mello section! I
know I haven't been able to make many of the camps this season but I will be
there ready to go! Lets do it up sun!!!!!!
